FAQ's

Below you will find Frequently Asked Questions and their answers. 

Q. How do you work?
A. We prefer to remote access your computer from our office.  We do this using LogMeIn.com or VNC.  Our rates are much lower due to the fact that we are able to multi task.

Q. What do you do?
A. We are an 'Out of Office' Office Manager.  We manage all of the office needs that you assign to us so you do not have to worry about the overhead of office space or employees.

Q. Do you come to me?
A. We have an Office of our own that we manage several other offices from.  We specialize in working for smaller businesses that do not have an office space but still have the need for 'Office Management'.  If you do have an office, yes we can come to you.

Q. What if I have employees?
A.  That is fine.  You may have employees that are specifically sales, or secretarial.  We can manage your 'higher' office duties, so you do not have to pay a FT employee higher rates when there is not FT office management work to be done.

Q. Is there a contract?
A. We prefer a 3 to 6 month contract.  We do this because we spend a lot of time setting up your account and getting to know your business, customers and vendors.  If you prefer not to have a contract, then we will take your account, but charge you a set up fee.

Q. What if I need you to do more than we originally agreed upon?
A.  That is normal.  You never know when you will need us to perform a service for a short time, or on a continual basis.  We can discuss your needs and adjust your contract accordingly.

Q. When are you available?
A.  Being that there are so many businesses out there that operate at many different hours, we try to be available as often as possible.  We can be contacted from 9AM to 7PM PST.

Q. What if I don't have an office?
A. That is fine.  You do not need one.  That is what we are for.  Most of the office management we do can be done via the internet.  When we do need to meet, we can come to a location near you.

Q. What areas do you serve?
A. We service all of San Diego County

What software do you use?
A. We prefer QuickBooks.  That is the money management software we use, unless otherwise requested by you.

Q. What if I do not have any money management software?
A. That is fine.  We can both manage your account from our location and send you reports, you can purchase the software needed, or you can subscribe to QuickBooks Online so you do not have to pay the upfront cost of expensive software.

Q. What if someone calls regarding an invoice or a bill that I paid?
A. Part of our services includes all correspondence to your A/P, A/R and invoicing.  If someone calls and you do not know the answer or do not have the time to look into it, you can direct them to us, and we will answer all of their questions.
